Winter Date Night Outfits That Are Cozy & Chic

I live for winter date nights because they’re one of the few opportunities to get dressed up after the holidays are over. But when it actually comes to getting out the door, I typically find myself wanting to resort to comfort over style. Fortunately, putting together a look that does both those things is easier than you think. Whether you’ll be going out for dinner or staying in at home for your next outing, I’m sharing 5 winter date night outfits that are equally cozy and chic.
Abercrombie Camel Blazer Coat | Revolve Black Bodysuit | Commando Vinyl Leggings (wearing a S) | Revolve Tan Suede Booties (exact style sold out, similar here and here) | Louis Vuitton Palm Springs Mini Backpack | Tom Ford Sunglasses (exact style sold out, similar here and here)
Vinyl Leggings, Bodysuit & Blazer
Nothing screams winter date night like a pair of hot vinyl leggings! For the perfect casual yet cozy ensemble, pair them with a bodysuit and blazer to hit the streets in style. The addition of pumps or heeled booties elevate the look just enough for a fun night out.
Balmain Blazer (better for budget here) | Amazon Button-Down Sweater Dress | Chanel Bag | Givenchy Sunglasses
Knit Midi Dress, Knee-High Boots & A Blazer
You guys know sweater dresses are my go-to in the fall and winter. Instead of the usual mini dress and over-the-knee boots combo, experiment with longer lengths and knee-high boots. This outfit can be layered with a blazer and a coat for extra warmth.
Revolve Bodysuit (exact style sold out, similar here) | Similar Black Corset | Blank Denim Faux Leather Pants (wearing a 24, run TTS) | Saint Laurent Sunset Bag
Sheer Bodysuit & Faux Leather Pants
Winter is all about staying warm, so a date night is a great opportunity to play with layering the pieces in your wardrobe. Try throwing a sheer top over a corset or bralette for a sexy, feminine look. Adding leather pants gives it an edgy, elevated vibe.
Similar White Coat | Bardot Lace Top | Levi’s Jeans | Quay Sunglasses | Saint Laurent Sunset Bag | Christian Louboutin White Heels (better for budget here)
Lace Blouse, Skinny Jeans & Coat
Since I’m wearing heavy winter layers most days, I like to mix it up with feminine, playful pieces for a night out. A lace top is the perfect choice since it goes with everything. With the colder temperatures, I’ll usually pair it with a great-fitting pair of jeans, heeled pumps, and a long coat.
Similar Blazer (also love this one) | Blank Denim Faux Leather Pants (wearing a 24, run TTS) | Gucci Belt | Saint Laurent Sunglasses | Gucci Velvet Clutch
Blazer, Waist Belt & Faux Leather Pants
A blazer is one of those pieces you can’t go wrong with. For a date night look though, swap out your basic blazer for one with split sleeves. I love how it bares the perfect amount of skin and looks sophisticated when belted at the waist over leather pants.
