I’m sure you guys are aware that one of my tricks to looking effortlessly chic is mixing high and low brands. I have to admit that I relish in a good deal as much as I covet high-end, designer brands. And I know a lot of you feel the same way since you’re always asking about more affordable options. So today, I’ll be sharing some tips and my go-to brands that’ll allow you to recreate my favorite designer looks for less. Part of the fun in fashion is being resourceful and creative when it comes to styling outfits you want to wear but can’t exactly afford. Ultimately, who you wear doesn’t nearly matter as much as how you wear it. Continue reading to learn how to recreate my recent designer looks for less this summer.
Lioness White Blazer (runs TTS) | Cami NYC White Cami (budget option here) | GRLFRND Denim (wearing a 23 – size down, better for budget here) | Gucci Marmont Bag (also here) | Quay Sunglasses | Gorjana Gold Bar Necklace | Gorjana Crescent Necklace | Amazon Cuff Ring (under $20) | Amazon Stacking Rings (under $10) | Rebecca Minkoff Cuff Bracelet | Stuart Weitzman Nude Heels
Summer Basics
Last week, I shared my list of must-have basics, which included the classic lace cami (full post here). They’re great for wearing out in the heat with distressed jeans, trousers, or denim cutoffs. I love that you can layer them under a blazer or jacket when the air conditioning is on full blast indoors. Although many of my favorites are from Cami NYC, I also love H&M for budget-friendly styles. The blazer is another essential piece that I can’t live without. There’s no doubt I’m obsessed with the sharp tailoring of Balmain blazers, but I’ve also shared this one countless times on the blog now – you can snag it for under $100.

Vacation Ready
The star of this spring outfit is the Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Linen Tote. However, it is easy to recreate this look with a more affordable tote. Any fabric or textured tote in a beige color would be perfect for a white mini dress. A Panama hat also makes the perfect topper. I’m a huge fan of Rag & Bone hats, but you can find similar styles from high-street brands like H&M and Nordstrom. Either retailer offers affordable ways to add an extra layer of chic to your spring and summer looks.

Gucci Go-To’s
Gucci is definitely one of my favorite designer brands of the moment, and I’ve been obsessed with the Marmont Camera bag, logo belt and t-shirt this season. While you can’t replicate the Gucci logo, you can certainly go for pieces that resemble these same silhouettes. For instance, opt for a graphic slogan tee paired with distressed jeans, a wide belt, and smart blazer. With belts, you can find some great quality styles from B-low the Belt, Madewell, and Halogen (from Nordstrom) that really accentuate denim.

Casual Attire
The Chanel bag is another prized possession in my wardrobe along with Christian Louboutin pumps. If you’re looking for a starter quilted chain bag, Rebecca Minkoff makes one of my favorite styles. For classic pumps, I typically go for Steve Madden or Sam Edelman. A major highlight of this look is the asymmetrical Agolde skirt, which makes a fun addition to my summer collection, but this one looks identical and is available for under $100! It’s made by BLANKNYC, one of my favorite budget-friendly brands for edgy staples.
Burberry Sandringham Trench (wearing a US 0) | Revolve Black Dress | Givenchy Antigona Bag | Manolo Blahnik Stilettos | Saint Laurent Flat Top Sunglasses
Trench Weather
The trench coat is one of the few pieces I wear year-round. Although I swear by my Burberry trench, Mango offers really classic styles, especially if you’re petite. I also plan on wearing my Manolo Blahnik heels with everything from dresses to boyfriend jeans this summer. You can easily recreate the look above with these heels.
