Last Minute Christmas Gifts You Can’t Go Wrong With

It’s hard to believe that we are now only four days away from Christmas, and that means it’s time to take advantage of the few days you have left to get those last minute Christmas gifts in. It’s pretty risky to place an order online right now and expect to receive it by Tuesday, so if you’re looking for something you can get and give instantly, I have some ideas you can’t go wrong with. With the weekend being such a busy and hectic time, I know that it can also be hard to run out to the mall. Fortunately, the gift ideas below can all be purchased from the comfort of your home.
eGift Cards
eGift cards are the best if you need something instantaneous – or if someone lives too far away to have a gift delivered on time. The recipient will receive a treat sent directly to his or her inbox. To me, this is hands down the perfect last minute present. I have already given a few this year. All you do is select your desired amount, enter a quick message, and head straight to checkout. Some of my favorite places to send eGift cards from are Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy’s, Barney’s New York, and Net-A-Porter.
Weekend Getaway Trip
Sometimes a weekend getaway is all that someone needs to feel refreshed and re-energized, especially during this time of year. This would be great for couples you know who work from home and can use a getaway to disconnect. A few of my favorite ideas are a weekend trip to NYC or Las Vegas. You can also keep it local by looking at trips to a nearby beach or the mountains. Even a staycation at a hotel or Airbnb for the weekend can be a game changer – just be sure to pick one near great spas and restaurants. I love browsing Groupon for ideas and options, but you can also check out Priceline or Expedia.
Event Tickets
Event tickets aren’t typically something you would think to buy as a gift, so this is a great idea if you’re looking to give something totally unexpected. Plus, it’s a great way to encourage other couples to connect. Whether it’s a concert, sporting event, or a performance, tickets to any kind of event are an experience worth giving. Be sure to check out Ticketmaster and Groupon to explore what your options are.
Online Classes
This one is definitely an unconventional gift, but I think it’s a great idea if you want to buy someone something they typically wouldn’t buy for themselves. I often hear people talking about wanting to learn new skills, but few actually invest in the tools to develop those skills. If any of your friends or family have expressed interest in a picking up a new hobby whether it’s photography, music, or writing, Skillshare is a great way to get them started and set them up for a successful 2019!
Spa Treatments
Everyone can use a gift of relaxation. With Groupon, you can easily package a few spa treatments into one gift. I personally love the idea of combining a massage, nail treatment, and a facial together. This is a great option for someone who rarely treats themselves out.
