How I Add Edge To My Spring Wardrobe

I’m all about adding a little edge to my everyday outfits, but I have to admit it’s a little harder to do in the warmer months. My go-to edgy piece throughout the year is a leather jacket, but it’s just too warm for that in spring and summer. Instead, I opt for edgier accessories and menswear-inspired jackets to add a little toughness to my outfits. I love incorporating edgy pieces into my outfits for an effortless street style vibe. Keep scrolling for my favorite edgy pieces.
I’m always a fan of distressed details. This denim skirt is not only perfectly distressed, but the light wash works well with spring’s lighter color palette or it can be paired with darker pieces to make it pop. It’s on sale right now too! Make sure to size down.
These leather tie sandals are sexy yet edgy. High-heeled sandals are my go-to footwear in the spring and summer especially if I’m wearing a skirt or shorts because barely-there heels instantly elongate (and your legs will look more defined too).
I’ve been wearing this camo jacket a lot lately – it’s the perfect weight for spring and I love how casual it is. In the warmer months, if I’m wearing mini skirts or dresses I’ll often throw on a jacket that’s the same length to maintain proportions.
Leather pieces are probably the best way to add a little toughness to an outfit. I love black leather bags for a dramatic statement. This Prada crossbody bag is such a beautiful bag. I love the edgy gold hardware on it.
My Gucci belt gets a lot of wear in the warmer months too because my outfits tend to be more centered around basics and a statement belt instantly elevates even the most basic pieces.
